It seems to have taken cues from Viziv Adrenaline Concept.
The Subaru Crosstrek is a great vehicle. It is also known as the XV in other markets. The main problem of it being underpowered was solved last years. This generation has been in production for a while, but it is starting to get a bit old.
This model is ripe to undergo a complete model overhaul, given Subaru’s recent five-year cycles. Subaru has been quiet about the next generation of their most popular model. It appears that the third-generation model of Subaru’s best-selling vehicle has been spotted and has been seen driving around the US. Although it is still camouflaged, the vehicle doesn’t have any false panels. This gives us a better view of this hatchback.
Its shape is very similar to the Crosstrek/XV’s current Crosstrek/XV, with its upright windshield and rakish reargate. The third rear window, which sweeps upwards, is similar to the previous and current generations. This video also features a good view of the C-shaped taillights, which Subaru has been using on many of their models lately.
We can see the headlights of the vehicle’s front under the camouflage. The headlights appear to be slimmer and more connected to the grille. Subaru seems to have resisted the temptation to give it a huge grille like so many other brands. You can also see the body cladding of the Crosstrek/XV next-gen Crosstrek/XV if you squint just a bit.
It will look similar to the Wilderness or all-new WRT. There is a slight resemblance to the Viziv Adrenaline Concept shown at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. It’s been diluted for production.
It also gives us a glimpse into its interior. Although we are only able to see the top of the screen, there are a few things we can expect from it. We wouldn’t be surprised to see it with the vertical infotainment display as found in higher-spec Subaru models. It is possible that it will look similar to the WRX’s dashboard but with a more sporty feel.
Subaru has not yet revealed when the Crosstrek/XV will be available. It is possible that it will be unveiled sometime in 2022, as a model for 2023.
