The Interior of This Electric Hypercar Is Mostly Screens

Take everything you see with a pinch salt.

We don’t often talk about Bulgaria. Although the small Balkan country isn’t a major player on the automotive scene, we have seen many interesting projects from Bulgarian companies. These include the Kinetik electric toy, and the Vilner. Another firm is making headlines from this country, but we’re still not sure if it’s good or bad.

The brand Alieno of Bulgaria was announced for the first time around two years ago , but it is still only on paper. The Arcanum is the first model. It should be the most powerful vehicle we have ever seen, with a maximum output of 5,221 horsepower (3.893 kilowatts). We haven’t seen any images yet, and we are only seeing computer renderings. These images show the interior of Arcanum. It’s amazing with eight displays. We think some screens are combined into one module, but we found eight areas that display information. We don’t understand many details, like why there are so many words near the gear lever. But we will leave that to the lead designer.

Encho Enchev explains that this version of Alieno’s interior is an extension to the car’s interior. The overall theme is ultra-modernism, with some Sci-Fi accents and futuristic accents. Our customers should feel as though they are in a spaceship’s cockpit, which is what the car looks like, thanks to the technology it has. The cockpit was inspired by the cockpits of military fighters as well as science fiction movies like Avatar Prometheus. Other highlights of the interior include heating and cooling cup holders, floating center console, electrically-adjustable cooled and heated bucket seats, memory “robotic” steering column, and others.

Alieno has not yet announced plans to begin production of the Arcanum. The company previously stated that it will build the Arcanum’s electric hypercars by customers ordering. Prices start at EUR750,000, or $878,000 at current exchange rates. The most costly variants will be priced at EUR1.5 million ($1.755million).
