In 2023, the GRMN Supra, which is hotter than ever, will be available.
Toyota is a company that has been focusing on making performance cars. The latest CarSensor report reveals some interesting details about the Supra, and the GR Corolla. We are excited to see the new models that Toyota is developing.
The report states that the Supra will receive a manual gearbox from next year. The Supra shares its platform and the BMW Z5, which has the manual. However, its arrival on the Supra is expected and welcome. It is also noted that Toyota will launch the GMRN Supra in 2023. However, it will only be available in a small production run. There were rumors that could be as low as 200 units. GRMN Supra will also feature a BMW S58 turbo 3.0-liter motor that could produce approximately 500 horsepower (372 kW).
According to the publication, the GRMN Yaris turbocharged 1.6-liter three cylinder will make its way into the long-rumored GR Corolla. It will produce 295 horsepower (219 kW) which is slightly more than the 257 horsepower (192 kW). The GR Corolla will be competing with the Subaru WRX STI and the Honda Civic Type R in North America. The newexamples will debut next year. However, they will compete for attention with the GR Corolla, which will also break covers. It will be available next summer.
Rumours about the Supra as well as the GR Corolla go back over a year, but the coronavirus pandemic has thrown off many plans. Automakers have had to reschedule debuts and moved things around. It does seem that we are close to finding out if these rumors really are true. Keep watching.
