Beaulieu Motor Museum’s World of Top Gear features cars from recent episodes.
Top Gear is not without its challenges, but it’s a worldwide phenomenon for car lovers. Beaulieu Motor Museum has a World of Top Gear exhibit that displays some of the iconic custom cars.
The Lift Hills and Thrills YouTube channel has released a new video that walks through the exhibition, showing many challenge cars used in the show’s 31 series run. This is not a new exhibit. This is not a new exhibit. The museum displayed a large collection of Top Gear cars. However, the newly redesigned exhibit features cars from recent series.
The museum features the Toyota Hilux, the indestructible Toyota Hilux truck, and the ski-jumping Mini. But it also features more recent stars such as Mr. Nippy (Series 29) and the bungee jumping Rover (Series 28). The museum features a variety of cars, as well as clips from the extensive TV show catalog and other interesting tidbits.
The exhibit features the entire Top Gear series, including modern-day episodes starring Chris Harris and Paddy McGuinness. However, many will still have a fond place for Jeremy Clarkson and James May who emigrated to Amazon’s some years ago.
To give viewers the feeling of being in the TV studio, the museum recreates the Enormodrome from the show. A Top Gear Track is also available at the museum. Visitors can test their driving skills without a helmet. These are miniatures of Top Gear challenge vehicles that can be remotely controlled.
The Lift Hills and Thrills YouTube channel points out that it is a bit sad to see some cars outside due to their history but it is better than throwing them in the trash. Beaulieu’s motor museum is a great place to visit the next time you are in southern England. You can see the awesome cars featured on the popular motoring show, World of Top Gear.
