Many rumors and speculations have been made about the hybrid model, as well as pure electric versions.
Some people have already started to criticize Chevy’s decision to kill the front-engine Corvette in favor of this new model. It will still carry the “Stingray” moniker in its base trim. They believe the two models should coexist peacefully in the lineup. The front-engined sports car should be the cheaper option, while the mid-engined model should cater to the most discerning buyers who are willing to spend the extra money for the best ‘Vette.
