Camouflage is a common way for automakers to disguise their vehicles in order to conceal the product’s identity from other drivers. Rolls-Royce is different. Anyone who sees the British brand will know that this is the upcoming Spectre electric coupe.
You will see a few design elements hidden by the vibrant wrap. Take a closer look at the photos to see them. Split headlights are visible, but their upper parts are hidden. The vertical slats on the hood are angled inward and may be able close completely. The taillights look like a placeholder.
An orange wire runs from trunk to roof and into cabin. This indicates that Rolls is currently evaluating components for either the drivetrain or the battery.
The Spectre looks very similar to the Rolls Royce Wraith coupe. The EV’s hood is more prominently sloping, while the roofline at the back has a distinctive arching design.
The Spectre’s interior photos are not yet available. You can expect a luxurious cabin made from the finest materials, as a Rolls-Royce. If the model is to be competitive against the next generation of ultra-luxury EVs, it should have impressive tech.
The Spectre is able to ride on the Architecture of Luxury platform, which is under the Ghost. The BMW iX M60 has a drivetrain that shares a similar design. It is equipped with two electric motors, each with a maximum of 610 horsepower (449 kilowatts), and an additional 811 pound-feet (1.100 newton meters) for short bursts when in Sport mode. The system produces 532 horsepower (391 kW), and 749 lbft (1.015 Nm) during normal driving.
