Ferrari 360 Limo wins $104,400 bid on eBay but fails to sell

It has seen more owners than it has doors.

This prom-ready 2003 Ferrari 360, located in Los Angeles, was up for sale until recently on ebay. It managed to attract a total 15 bids with the highest being $104,400. The seller didn’t have enough money to pay the reserve so the “rarest Ferrari limousine in the world”, as the listing describes, has yet to find a new owner.

The Modena, which was converted this year, has had nine owners in its entire life. That is more than the total number: six. To make the prancing horse more unusual, the rear ones are suicide-type and cause a stir among Maranello purists.

We performed a quick search with the VIN listed on the ad to find out that the car was sold once for $98,650 according to Cars.com. The car had 29509 miles (47.490 km) at the time it was sold. However, the listing now states that the vehicle has traveled 31,801 miles (51.178 km). It appears that the vehicle has not one but two sunroofs and a fully open section, just like you would expect from a limousine.

It is interesting that the vehicle failed to sell despite a $104,400 price. This is especially true when you consider that a regular 360 Modena, which has not been converted into a limousine, can be purchased for that amount of money. They are much cheaper than the others and only the 2003MY models in great condition are being offered at a six-figure price.

This is a mildly NSFW video (but who works these days anyway?). Video with the eight-seater 360, taken a few months back, when it was available for rent to Los Angeles. You might still be able to rent it, who knows?
