This is a very costly fender bender.
This is something you won’t see every single day. We don’t mean just a Lamborghini Urus, or a Rolls-Royce Ghost. Even rarer is the sight of these two vehicles together, aside from a swanky gathering. What are the chances that they will collide on what appears to be a quiet, English suburban street? There’s more.
Although is not what we have, the Ghost’s driver allegedly fled the area shortly after the impact. The accident occurred in Walsall on October 13, just outside of Birmingham, in the central region. The photograph does not show much information, but the Rolls-Royce driver is believed to have been the culprit.
Express & Star reported that the Ghost collided with two cars. One of these was clearly the red Urus, which can be seen here. Force Response tweeted that the driver was not driving in bad road conditions, and fled the scene. However, they appear to have “him” photograph. Although it is not clear if there were any passengers in the Rolls Royce or Lamborghini vehicles, there weren’t any injuries.
This is a good thing, as the Ghost was not spared by the Urus’s impact. The car’s left side is visible being pushed backwards by a few feet. There are also extensive damage to its grille and hood. The impact with an unknown vehicle may have caused the right fender damage. The Ghost was thrown around enough times to cause all of the airbags to explode, which can be costly replacement. Add in the damage to the Ghost and the Urus, and it could easily amount to a quarter million dollars. Ouch.
We have a collision between two extremely rare and very expensive cars. It happened in an unlikely location. The driver of one car fled the scene. This whole thing may leave you with more questions than answers.
