The tiny engine that could.

Smart cars are known for their small size, maneuverability, affordability, and ease of use. However, nobody on the earth has ever been curious about the car’s towing capabilities. The proud owner of a Two has been filmed with his fishing boat in tow.

According to the story, the driver bought the vehicle after selling his truck in order to reduce fuel costs. He did downsize, but he didn’t hesitate to customize the vehicle to his liking, including a loud exhaust that would draw the attention of his wife. The owner was determined not to allow his small car to get in the way his great fishing hobby.

Although you might think a pickup truck would be the best tool for this job, the Smart only produces 70 horsepower (52 kilowatts) & 92 pound-feet (112 newton-meters). The ForTwo’s small engine is not designed to set records at tractor pull events. However, its 1.0-liter three cylinder was one the most efficient engines ever made. It released only 97 grams per kilometer.

To our surprise, Austin Powers made a three-point turn to exit the driveway. He was then off to the races. Although we would love to see another video of the boat arriving at the dock and disembarking from it, we will give them the benefit.
