Everything is priced the same, plus more.
Acura had announced in September the arrival of the special HTMLX PMC Edition in Thermal Orange. This would be a hybrid version of the /NSX supercar. Just in time for Halloween, the Japanese luxury marque has announced the pricing of these hand-built vehicles.
Acura has announced that the RDX PMC Edition will retail at $51,000. This excludes the $1,995 destination fee. This price is consistent with the earlier announcement that the crossover would be priced at low $50,000.
Why is this such a great deal? The Advance Package with Super Handling All-Wheel Drive and optional 20-inch black diamond-cut all-alloy rims is the most expensive 2021 Acura RX package you can buy, at $51,430. The price of the A-Spec trim will drop to $48,608 but you’ll lose the 10.5-inch head up display, rain-sensing wipers, and surround-view camera system.
The Acura RDX PMC edition is a combination of A-Spec and Advance Packages. It’s the most well-equipped version of the crossover. The PMC Edition features include a gloss-black roof, gloss-black side mirrors and handles, a body-color grille surround and black chrome exhaust finishers. Thermal Orange is an endemic species in the PMC Edition.
The $51,000 price tag covers all the options and more. Each RDX PMC Edition unit is also hand-built in Ohio, just like the NSX.
Acura will begin delivery of the 2021 Acura RX PMC Edition by October 29, 2020.
