China’s Production Lincoln Zephyr is a Stylish Sedan

Prices start at $39,906.

The final production version Lincoln Zephyr will be officially unveiled at the Guangzhou Auto Show, following two leaks in September and November. We are sorry to announce that it will only be available in China.

A large sedan-shaped vehicle is revealed in the press photos. The radiator grille features a large Lincoln logo. A chrome strip surrounds the emblem and merges with the integrated LED daytime running lamps. The bumper’s lower section features two C-shaped air intakes on each side and a large lower grille concealing the adaptive cruise control radar.

The car’s back reminds us strongly of the Audi A7, and even the Euro-spec Skoda Octavia hatchback. However, the bumper features an aggressive diffuser, and the boot lid features an LED strip connecting to the taillights. There are two appearance packages available, i Cool or i Enjoy. They have different trims for each side.

The Zephyr’s engine is a turbocharged gasoline engine of 2.0-liter capacity, producing 235 horsepower (175kW) and is mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The sedan can be driven on either larger 235/45 R19 or 235/50 R18 tires.

The interior design of the Zephyr should not be surprising if you have been following Ford’s latest products for China. The Zephyr’s interior features a dual screen setup, with a 12.3 inch screen instrument cluster and a huge 27-inch infotainment monitor covering both the central area and the area in front. The Zephyr-exclusive Nebula software is used for the infotainment system, and the steering wheel features touch-sensitive buttons.

Lincoln will soon begin accepting orders for the luxury sedan. Prices range from 255,000 to 342,000 Yuan or $39,906 up to $53,521 depending on current exchange rates.
