You need 1,000 horsepower to power a wagon capable of traveling 210 mph.
The Audi RS6 Avant, Audi’s all-purpose car, is already a supercar disguised in a wagon. The twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V8 is capable of unlocking even more power. However, tuners might prefer to focus their attention on another vehicle. Pacific German and VF Engineering teamed up to create a unique custom build that would be able to compete against the Bugatti Veyron in drag racing.
The stage 3 kit has many upgrades and the family hauler, filmed by Auditography, has been increased to more than 1,000 horsepower. It also features a mountain-moving of 750 pound-feet and more than 1,000 Newton-meters torque. Ingolstadt modified the estate with everything, including a TTE turbo boost and an Eventuri intake kit as well as beefier intercoolers. An Akrapovic Titanium exhaust gives the engine a powerful note, while the OEM look is maintained by the RS-specific dual oval tip.
The RS6 Avant has been fitted with a subtle body kit, and a subtle wrap. Meanwhile, the standard wheels have been replaced with a 22-inch set with a brushed-bronze finish. The changes include new anti-roll bars from ABT Sportsline, as well as a modified steering wheel with Alcantara carbon fiber and shift lights.
The unique long-roof Audi wagon is a beast. It can reach speeds of over 210 mph, or almost 340 km/h, in just 2.7 seconds. These impressive numbers will allow the RS6 to keep up with the Porsche 911 Turbos via the Autobahn, rather than have to pass them.
The Avant is a bonkers piece of art that must have cost a lot to make, considering that a bone stock RS6 already costs $116,000.
