2022 Nissan Murano goes darkside with Midnight Edition Package

It is also slightly more expensive this year.

The current-generation Nissan Murano is doing well. Although the crossover was given a makeover for the 2019 model year its bones date back to 2014. Of course We’re due for a Blackout Package on the Murano. It’s like a right of passage when vehicle life spans reach a certain age.

The blackout treatment is only available for the 2022 Nissan Murano Midnight Edition. The package adds darkness to the Nissan V-Motion grille, which is the centerpiece of the flagship crossover. The lower fascia is also more black and almost every surface on the exterior that was previously chrome or a contrasting color is now. Special gloss-black 20 inch wheels are used for the Midnight Edition. You can’t have a special edition model without special badges.

Nissan only offers the Midnight Edition package on SV trims, regardless of whether they are front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive. The SV comes standard with leatherette heated seats and the Midnight Edition package. You’ll pay $37 845 to turn the front wheels, or $39 545 for all-paw. The destination fees of $1,175 are not included in the price.

All Murano trims will be slightly more expensive in 2022. The base Murano S FWD starts at $32,910, which is $100 less than last year. The SV FWD starts at $36,450. This is a $510 increase from 2021. The price of the 2022 Murano SL at $40,410 is $100 higher, while the Platinum model, which offers a more luxurious ride, sees a $100 increase to $44,460. All-wheel drive usually adds $1,100 to $1,500. Prices do not include the $1,175 destination charge.

All 2022 Nissan Murano trims, including the Midnight Edition, can now be ordered.
