It was not a problem to max out the speedometer.
Ask any Bimmer enthusiast which BMW M5 is their favorite, and they will most likely point to the E39. The E39 generation of M5 is undoubtedly the most powerful four-door sedan ever made.
The M5’s simple exterior design was nothing to be ashamed of. It was also equipped with a full range of ’90s technology features and a six-speed manual gearbox, making it an excellent driving machine. It is also the first M5 with aluminum front suspension components, and a rear multilink suspension.
The engine of the E39 M5 is the most impressive thing. The first M-badged BMW to use an engine – the 4.9-liter S62 V8 motor that produces 394 horsepower (294 Kilowatts) as well as 369 pound-feet (369 Newton-meters) of torque.
How can you make the best of what is available even more? It seems that a supercharger works well, as do other modifications, which made the tuned E39 M5. YouTuber AutoTopNL tested it (video embedded at the top of this article). It sounds insane from both the inside and outside.
The supercharged M5 produces 600 horsepower. AutoTopNL put the M5 through a series of tests to verify the numbers in the real world. This included several acceleration runs, sound checks, and sound checks.
The M5 tuned also visited the German Autobahn to do a top speed race. The driver had so much power that it could reach speeds of 300 km/h (186 MPH) without any difficulty. Although it sounded like it could still do more, the video was cut short to allow for the amazing flyby shot.
