What if you could hit 186 mph on public roads?
Living in Germany has many benefits, including the ability to drive your car and maximize it without fear of getting ticketed. The Autobahn is a world-famous section that doesn’t have any speed limits.
This is especially true when you drive a German car that doesn’t mind stretching its legs. The Mercedes-AMG Mercedes-AMG S63 S has had a major makeover last year. The E63 S has a new design that is more in line with other AMG products. It’s also a fast vehicle, as shown on the AutoTopNL video (embedded at the top of this page).
This video is actually a YouTube review. The YouTuber also tests cars on the Autobahn at their top speeds, which happens around the 11-minute mark in the video review.
The AMG E63 S can be seen reaching speeds of 186 mph (300 km/h) towards the end of this video. It was amazing to see how easily the Merc could reach this speed. The presenter hosted calmly and nonchalantly despite its high velocity. It was almost as if the car was designed to conquer this section on the Autobahn. We aren’t sure which is more impressive at this stage: the car or the host.
The high-speed thoroughfare was also characterized by a disciplined driving style. The fast lane, despite only having two lanes was respected by drivers. slower cars tend to move to the right when they see a fast vehicle.
The next-generation AMG V8 won’t be available for the Merc. However, the current one may stay around for a while. It is not secret that the German marque has abandoned the development of V8 engine engines in favor electrification and lower emissions.
