2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 Price Starts At $40,925 For SE Standard Range

After all, the US market will get the 58 kWh-powered version.

The all-electric Hyundai Hyundai Ioniq 5 was unveiled to the world almost a year ago, in Feb 2021. We are close to seeing the all-electric in dealerships. It made its North American debut in May. The final piece of this puzzle is now complete. We’re referring to cost.

The price of the 2022 Hyundai Inoniq 5 starts at $40,000. The price includes a $1225 destination fee. For that amount you get a single motor SE Standard Range model with the battery pack of 58 kWh. This is new news for Americans, since such a small battery was not originally planned for North America.

The Ioniq 5’s 168 horsepower (125 kilowatts) is enough to cover 220 miles per charge in this configuration. Hyundai wants to remind Americans who are eligible for the $7500 tax credit to the US that the Ioniq 5’s actual price falls to $33,425 after applying.

The Ioniq 5 Limited AWD is at the opposite end of the pricing spectrum. It uses a larger 78 kWh battery with dual motors, creating a total power output of 320 horsepower (239 kW). The battery has an EPA-rated range rating of 256 miles on a single charge and will cost you $55,725.

Here is a breakdown of Ioniq 5-trim levels and pricing.
