These are not renderings. The MegaBronc exists.
This article will begin by discussing the elephant in the room from a neutral position, understanding that not everyone might see it. You are probably familiar with the phrase Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder. Let’s not go any further.
This is a Ford Bronco. It is indeed a Ford F250. The MegaBronc is a North Carolina-based MegaRexx. This name may sound familiar as we have featured custom trucks made by MegaRexx in the past. You may be familiar with the MegaRaptor which transforms any F-Series that is larger than a half-ton F-150 to a powerful off-roader, much like the Raptor. This build is quite different.
You may have noticed that its face looks like a Ford Bronco. This is a smaller vehicle than an F-250. MegaRexx creates a custom front clip that blends the styling. It includes fenders, a bumper, and a hood. MegaRexx also widened the truck’s track to allow for larger 40-inch tires. These proportions are fascinating. But the Bronco F-250 fusion does not stop there.
You’ll find Bronco-style bars in bed with an additional seat. Officially, this rig is seven-seater. It has four seats in the traditional Ford Expedition cab and a three row bench from the Ford Expedition back. MegaRexx claims that the MegaBronc has a removable hardtop. However, it seems to be restricted to back-seat passengers. Although photos show only the exterior, it is possible that there is a pass-through between the back seat and the cab.
This Frankenstein is mechanically a F-250, which is almost factory stock. These off-road tires were mounted on 20-inch Method wheels. Icon 4.5-inch front coilsprings and 5-inch rear springs give a slight lift. Other suspension components are also upgraded. The truck’s stock 6.7-liter PowerStroke engine and 10-speed automatic are powered by 4.56 gears. All other features are the same as on a F-250 Lariat standard, so there’s plenty of tech and creature comforts inside.
It’s not cheap to combine two different types of Blue Oval offroading. MegaRexx will sell MegaBroncs for $199,000.
