Lego Hoonicorn Mustang is the Most Insane Custom Technic Built Ever

Radio controlled, it has dual differentials and many details.

Recently, Ken Block Head Hoonigan Incharge of Facebook posted a bizarre-looking photo of his Hoonicorn Mustang. It turned out that the car was actually a Lego replica, and it was quite good. It’s not like other full-size creations, such as the McLaren Senna and VWT2 Camper Van. This one is superior because we can build it and drive it ourselves. We are both fans of Block’s tire-slaying antics as well as Lego geeks and were eager to learn more about the custom creation. So we sent a message to Lachlan Cameron, the man behind it. This is a 100% Lego build. Cameron said it does have some chromed parts. This My Own Creation (MOC), Technic project is not only beautiful, but also radio-controlled with WiFi-enabled controls via a smartphone. Cameron spent considerable time designing a suspension system with front and back differentials that will allow it to run on several different motors. You can even see the inside detail of the gear shifter. The trunk and doors can be opened, as well as the hood which houses a V8 engine complete with moving pistons. This build does not include a set of smoking, bald tires.

Cameron allowed us to post some photos of him on the Lego Hoonicorn. However, you will need to visit his Rebrickable.com site to see all that went into this car. Cameron has been creating custom Lego projects for 3 years. Designs like this Mustang take between 1-3 months. The best part? Cameron provides instructions and a parts listing for anyone who is interested in building a Lego Hoonicorn.
