Mansory’s Wild Tuning Is Not Safe for The Can-Am Maverick You can conquer sand dunes with more power and style The Can-Am Maverick is a lightweight off-roader who doesn’t care if you get dirty while playing on dirt. Mansory is known for creating outrageous aftermarket products that aren’t for everyone. What happens when an off-roader with no rules meets a tuner with no limits? MansoryXerocole is an absurdity that looks great and is ready to conquer the sand dunes with style. The Mansory Xerocole was one of 11 vehicles the German tuner planned to display at the Geneva Motor Show this past year. It is based on the 2020 Can-Am Maverick X3, an updated version of the 195-horsepower (145-kilowatt UTV) that won the Dakar rally three years running. The Maverick X3 is a rock-crawler and off-roader, as it boasts a turbocharged Rotax ACE 900cc engine, four-link TTX suspension and FOX 3.0 PODIUM RC2 remote reservoir. Mansory gave the side-by side a thicker roof with an LED ensemble, a different fascia and carbon-fiber side panel, as well as a rear that Dakar spectators are sure to remember. The cabin is decorated with orange accents and Alcantara trims. The Xerocole was upgraded to 222 horsepower (166 kW) by Mansory. While this is not a significant upgrade, it’s still enough power for a light UTV. Mansory did not disclose the price of the Xerocole, but if this is any indication, it sells at $29,599 for the top X3 X RC Turbo RR, so expect the German-tuned version will be much more.
