Replica 1984 Chevy K10 Square Body Fall Guy’ Replica Now Available for $99,000

Take the wheel of a car and pretend that you are a stuntman who is also a bounty hunter.

The 1980s were a great time for cars to be the stars of television series. There were notable examples such as KITT from Knight Rider and the Ferrari 308 of Magnum, P.I. The Fall Guy was not able to maintain the same pop-cultural presence today but Lee Majors drove a modified GMC K-2500 Sierra Grande Wideside. Barrett-Jackson recently sold a copy of the truck for $99,000.

The Fall Guy was an idea of a Hollywood stuntman who also worked as a bounty hunter. This setup allows for many car chases and stunts, even though it doesn’t make sense.

Barrett-Jackson originally called the truck Chevrolet K10. The truck was originally named Chevrolet K10. It was converted by students from Vincennes University’s Automotive and Collision Repair program to look like The Fall Guy’s GMC. According to the auction listing, this work took place in 2010.

You can customize the cargo bed by adding small doors that fit under the cab. This is one of the most distinctive elements in the truck.

The truck also features a brush guard, a custom winch mount and a bank lights above its roof. It looks great with the two-tone beige and brown color scheme.

The truck’s engine is a 350-cubic inch (5.7-liter) rebuilt V8. It has a four-barrel carburetor to it. The engine is driven by a three-speed GM TH400 automated gearbox and an NP208 two speed transfer case. Rebuilt pieces are used for the rear and front axles. There are also custom driveshafts.

The interior is a light brown, which matches the truck in the TV series. The exterior features a whip antenna and a CB radio.

The auction listing shows that the seller also included a treasure trove The Fall Guy memorabilia. It included autographs from cast members, a script and various toys.
