Aston Martin Valkyrie and Ferrari 512 M are two other new models.
In 2022, Lego’s collection brick-built cars will continue to grow. New Lego Speed Champions sets are set to go on sale later this year. Builders of all ages will have the opportunity to purchase seven new cars in five new sets.
These sets include:
- 1970 Ferrari 512 M
- Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro, and Aston Martin Vantage GT3
- Lamborghini Countach
- Lotus Evija
- Mercedes-AMG F1 E Performance and Mercedes AMG Project One
This year, not all kits are the same. The Aston kits include two cars, two drivers, as well as other Lego goodies like helmets and extra rims. The Aston set, however, has 592 pieces, whereas the Mercedes set contains more. The Mercedes set is 564 pieces. Plan your weekend accordingly.
Although the other sets are smaller, you still get one car. The Lotus set is 247 pieces. The set includes an additional set of rims, a wrench, and the driver as well as the new Evija. The Ferrari kit is 291 pieces and includes a car with a helmeted, white-suited driver. In its 262 pieces, the 1970 Lamborghini-Countach kit includes a driver as well as a wrench.
Prices start at $19.99 for single-model kits, and go up to $29.99 for the Mercedes one. The Aston Martin kit will cost you $39.99. Lego lists five seats for sale starting March 1, 2022.
