Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato Video Shows Off-Road Prototype In Action

This year, the dirt-loving supercar might be made available in metal.

Lamborghini’s Huracan Sterrato Concept was introduced in 2019 by Lamborghini as an all-terrain supercar, which isn’t afraid to get dirty. This was not an April Fool’s joke, though. It looks like the automaker is serious about putting the powerful, dirt-loving Huracan into production.

We have seen spy photos of what appears to be a Huracan Sterrato proto. It has roof rails and a raised suspension, which is exactly like the concept. It is exactly the same as the concept.

Watch the same prototype in action in the video embedded above. This video is courtesy of CarSpyMedia on YouTube.

A revamped front was seen on the prototype captured in winter wonderland. It has the yellow tie-downs and light bar on the hood. The skid plate protrudes in front of the V10-powered sportscar.

The prototype does not have bolt-on flares for protecting the paint job and the larger wheel arches. The tires have thicker sidewalls and the tread pattern is ready for off-road.

It’s clear that Lamborghini has something special in mind with the Huracan, a jacked-up Huracan currently under development. However, CEO Stephan Winkelmann has suggested that this could be one among four new cars this year. He stated to Autocar, “We have a tremendous opportunity to do something unique in the super-sports cars business. This has not been done before.”

Lamborghini will be ending an era this year. This year will mark the end of an era for Lamborghini. It will debut a supercar powered by gasoline before moving into hybrid powertrains, and eventually full electrification.

A Huracan off-road would be a wonderful last hurrah. Let us know what you think. What do you think? Would you be interested to own a rally-focused supercar. We would love to hear your thoughts.
