They make a great pair.

For some people, high-end yachts and automobiles can go hand-in-hand. Bentley is one such brand. The automaker did go a little further than its rival. Contest Yachts was commissioned by the company to design a boat interior that matches the interior in the Bentley Continental GTV8.

Bentley Design Services worked with the Danish yacht builder to recreate the car’s unique interior. The brand’s Hotspur red leather was used throughout the car, which is also carried over to the yacht. This includes the 712 stitches required to create a diamond-in-diamond diamond. Bentley uses a machine that was specially ordered by the brand for the production of the pattern. The 18-meter (59-foot-long) yacht Contest 59 CS also features contrasting Linen beige hide

The yacht’s interior features similar-looking light-colored wooden. This is in keeping with the Bentley’s wood veneer on the dash and door panels. Bentley’s interior was reproduced in a stunning way inside the yacht. The two feature identical materials and show off the brand’s craftsmanship. The yacht complements the Bentley’s Light Sapphire exterior with its deep blue hull.

This isn’t the first time that the company has experimented with boats. Bentley and Princess Yachts created the Continental GT Convertible Galene Edition in 2017. This car incorporated styling elements from the boat. Open-pore Pinstripe Walnut was used throughout the interior and the trunk floor. As we have seen Aston Martin, Mercedes and other high-end cars companies get into the water in the past few years, there is no doubt that we will see more partnerships between yacht manufacturers and high-end car firms.
