New Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Spied On Video Sounding Like An F1 Car

Porsche music fills the Nurburgring.

You can adjust the volume on your phone, tablet or computer to make this the loudest video you can see. This turn the video to 11 videos is because few cars can emit the soaring sound of a flat-six naturally revving to infinity. The next-generation Porsche 911 GT3 sounds incredible.

Porsche We are currently working on the GT3 in various flavors. This particular prototype we believe to be the Touring model. It doesn’t have the outrageous bodywork like the huge rear spoiler or vented fenders. GT3 RS It doesn’t have the engine, however. This clip of two minutes captures almost certain an updated version the automaker’s 4-liter mill. It could produce as high as 550 horsepower (405 megawatts) for its next-generation GT3. It looks great through bends even without aero parts and doesn’t waste too much time between them.

The previous-generation GT3 was a huge success with the Touring model. It offered naturally aspirated performance without all the pomp and circumstance that the RS version offers. The GT3’s big wing is gone, but it still provides substantial downforce thanks to its active spoiler at back and chin spoiler front. There are vents on the car’s hood and a center-exit exhaust. This car appears to be production-ready, with the exception of small pieces of black tape that obscure tiny details. We believe it is also well-tuned, judging from the way the test driver pushes the limits.

We are eager to take the wheel of the GT3, but when will that happen? Although we expect a GT3 debut very soon, a timeframe is still unknown. We could see three GT3 versions when the covers come off. The standard model has a large fixed rear wing. This Touring version can be seen here. There may also be a classic version with a ducktail spoiler.
