We get a first glimpse at the future Acura Type S Concept, and it is stunning. It is stunning, with its long hood, sloping top, elegant design and beautiful Double Apex Blue Pearl paint. The car looks more like a sports car rather than a luxury sedan. That’s a good thing.
Acura’s styling is a mess. But this new Type S concept marks the beginning of a long journey to reintroduce Type S performance sub-brand. It will be a while before Acura showrooms have anything similar.
The 2020 Acura Honda NSX is still possible with Indy Yellow Pearl paint. This is a throwback color to the Spa Yellow color on the 1997-2003 NSX. It joins Berlina Black as the only two heritage colors currently available.
Paint is not cheap at $1,000, but it’s still a bargain compared to the car starting price of $157,000. This does not include the $1,995 destination or handling fee. For the 2020 NSX, order books are available for those who wish to choose a brighter color. Deliveries begin in November.

These are key reveals for Acura, even though Bugatti may take all the headlines. Acura is looking to the future and tapping into its history with the NSX. Both look great.
