German tuner adds its unique touch to the Benz’s powerful model with a complete tuning kit.
VATH, a German tuner, has his own ideas about the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.
The tuning begins with a power boost to the 6.3-liter unit. This increases the noise level from 571 PS (420kW / 563 HP) up to 615PS (452kW / 607bhp), and 680 Nm (680 lbft). The SLS can reach speeds of 330 km/h (205/mph) and sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds.
VATH is a high-performance exhaust system that includes a pneumatic valve system that allows the driver to control the exhaust sound from his cockpit. It can be set to any sound you like, including a loud sporty sound or a quieter rumble.
VATH also adds 9.5Jx20-inch and 11.5Jx20-inch rims in 265/30ZR20, 315/25ZR20 tires front and back.
The SLS AMG is 25 millimeters lower with the VATH Comfort Suspension.
The German tuner is a refreshingly subtle and less-is-more version of the SLS AMG. It includes an integrated front spoiler to increase downforce on front axle. Also, a boot lid spoiler that has a trailing edge, side skirts with better brake ducts, and a boot spoiler.
The interior features a leather sports steering wheel, which can be finished with carbon or wooden trims. The speedometer can read up to 400 km/h and black floor mats have VATH logos added. The tuner can also trim doors in leather.
