Polestar First Super Bowl Ad Revealed in Full

Volvo’s electric spinoff believes that less is more.

Polestar is a relatively new company but has been in existence since 1996. It was only when it began tweaking different Volvo models that its exposure increased beyond motorsport. This was before the Swedes purchased it in 2015. Geely also includes Lotus, Lynk & Co., Proton and half from Smart.

The Polestar 1 plug in hybrid has been discontinued by the company. The Polestar 2 will be the only model available for now. The automaker’s Super Bowl ad will feature the zero-emissions liftback. A 15-second preview of the brand’s minimalist approach has been released in advance of the Big Game.Other Super Bowl LVI ads that we have seen thus far include
Celebrities,Comebacks And Robotic puppies Polestar’s commercial won’t have any of these. The ad will focus on the EV and do away with all other elements.

We may be old-fashioned but we find it refreshing to see an ad that focuses on the product. The Polestar 2 commercial will air in the first quarter on February 13, and it seems that this is the case. This is the first time that the company has ever chosen to advertise during a major sporting event. The 30-second spot is expected to “toss aside traditional expressions in favor of big-game advertising.”

NBC, this year’s Super Bowl broadcaster, has not revealed the cost of airing a 30-second spot. NBC Los Angeles mentions that a company executive stated in September 2021 that the slots were being sold for a cool $6.5 million. Halftime entertainment will be provided by Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Eminem.
