These powerful, quick sedans set the asphalt ablaze.
There’s a good chance you’re searching for an electric car if you want to buy a four-door sedan that is fast. This includes a Porsche Taycan Turbo S and a Lucid Air. These three EVs can match most internal combustion engine-powered supercars, if any, in terms of speed. Which of these three EVs is fastest?
DragTimes organized a drag racing between the three of you to answer this question. You might know the answer from the list, but this video will help you.
Let’s first look at the numbers before we watch the race. This Lucid Air is the Performance Dream Edition. It produces 1,111 horsepower (817 Kilowatts) with its two electric motors. It weighs in at 5,236 pounds (2.420 kg) and is wrapped with Pirelli PZero H tires.
The Porsche Taycan Turbo S is almost as heavy as the Lucid Air. However, it has 750 horsepower (552 kW), from two electric motors. Although the Porsche is more expensive than the Lucid, it’s almost $50,000 more expensive than the Lucid.
The EVs are both lighter and cheaper than this star. The Tesla Model S Plaid produces 1,020 horsepower (750 kW) and is only 4,833 pounds (2,215 kilograms). It is equipped with a pair of Michelin Pilot 4S tires. It is also nearly $50,000 cheaper than the Lucid Air.
You probably know who won the straight-line race with all these numbers. You can also see the video at the top of this page to see which winner won all three rounds.
