Enjoying some dirt on the Bronco’s natural habitat.
Hennessey performance took its Velociraptor 400 Bronco for a desert test drive through Arizona. Now you have the chance to see it in action.
The Texas-based tuner introduced its own Bronco Raptor version to the public, leading to the debut of the fast SUV. It is the latest in Hennessey Performance’s high-powered Blue Oval vehicles, such as the F150 Venom or Mustang Legend Edition. It’s now putting it to the test on its natural habitat, which is stretches of dirt, rocks, and sand.
Hennessey was capable of generating 411 horsepower (306 Kilowatts) from the Bronco Badlands’ stock twin-turbo V6. He also managed to produce 603 pound-feet (818 Newton meters) of torque. This was possible thanks to various improvements, including an all-new intake system and exhaust system, engine calibration, and a larger front mounted intercooler system.
Buyers have many customization options to personalize the offroader. The new Hennessey livery options include VelociRaptor and Hennessey badges with distinctive double bonnet stripes that extend to the roof. Customers can also choose to have a set 35-inch offroad tires on 18 inch Hennessey wheels. This includes front and rear VelociRaptor bumpers and retractable side step.
“Since mid-last year we have been overwhelmed with requests from customers to upgrade their Bronco. John Hennessey is the founder and CEO of VelociRaptor 400 Bronco. The Bronco is a beloved car for many customers. Now they can offer them an upgraded version with power and style.
