The fifth-generation Odyssey will go on sale Friday. It features a sleek exterior, with a prominent front grille and flanked by sweptback headerlights. A distinctive character line is also featured on the van, including sliding rear doors and an attached spoiler at the tailgate.
This upscale interior draws inspiration from luxurious hotel suites. The interior features metallic accents, wood trim and an infotainment screen. You can add second-row premium cradle seats to the van that allow you to recline and use your own footrests.
The new platform has a higher ceiling than the old model and a lower floor. The Odyssey offers a more comfortable cabin and a lower center of gravity, promising a “sedan-like” driving experience.
Although performance specs were not available, the model’s 2.4-liter iVTEC engine is coupled to a continuously variable transmission.
