You will need a carbon-fiber bike to match your supercar.
The Mercedes-AMG GT R machine is a beast. The 4.0-liter V8 is capable of producing 577 horsepower (430 Kilowatts) as well as 516 pound-feet (706 Newton-meters) in torque. Mercedes offers a solution for those days when you want to bike to work and leave your powerful Mercedes at home.
This limited edition ROTWILD racing bike is inspired by the AMG GT R. The bike, dubbed the RS.2, was hand-built and has a price tag that rivals the AMG GT R.
It’s not the cheapest bike available at $8,290 (EUR7.109), but ROTWILD, MercedesBenz and MercedesBenz ensure potential buyers that it is well-equipped. The bike’s frame is made using Carbon Module Monocoque Technology, which means it’s lightweight and stiff. The lightweight frame is equipped with Shimano disc brakes and a pair of Crankbrothers Cobalt11 carbon wheels. The wheels are rigidly lateralized thanks to the unique twin-pair spoke design.
The R.S2 features rider-direct steering and a sporty seat position. It is designed to offer “good propulsion and high direction stably” even under the most difficult road conditions. This is the third Mercedes-Benz-inspired bike that the company has released in just a few years, following the G-Glass-inspired R.X45 AMG mountain bike in 2013, and the GT S-inspired racing bike in 2015.
The Mercedes-Benz ROTWILD bike, which is similar to the Aston Martin Storck bicycle, will be made in very limited quantities. Only 50 examples will be available for purchase, which is less than half the number of 107 Aston Martin bikes.
