It also looks like a 392 Rubicon.
The 2022 Easter Jeep Safari has arrived. Jeep promises several concept debuts on the famous Moab trails. We have seen two teasers that were vaguely mysterious; this third teaser is not as mysterious.
We mean that there is at least some indication of what it might be. Jeep shared a low resolution image showing the hood of either an Wrangler, or Gladiator with Rubicon trim. It’s easy to see the Rubicon letters, but if you look closer you will see the number 20 at its end. This leads us to believe that this is a Wrangler Rubicon. The first Rubicon was introduced in 2003. This would have been 20 years ago in 2023 models, which is perfect for the 20th Anniversary Wrangler Rubicon.
But there’s more.
Look closer at the center of your hood. The hood has a distinctive bulge. Although the script is a little blurry on the side, it looks very much like 392 to me. Finally, we see the American flag on the front fender. It is similar to the Wrangler Freedom Edition. It’s easy to see the conclusion. One concept is a 20-anniversary Wrangler Rubicon392 Hemi with a Freedom or Built To Serve bundle.
We will reveal the exact name at a later time, but this is enough to give you an idea of the concept. This concept vehicle is just that, a concept vehicle. It can still preview a production anniversary model with or without the Hemi V8. This Wrangler teaser is joined by the first teaser, which featured a Gladiator outfitted with Jeep Performance Parts bits and a Grand Cherokee we suspect to be a plug-in hybrid 4xe.
At past Easter Jeep Safari events, we’ve seen seven Jeep concepts. The event is still a month away so expect more concepts and teasers to come.
