This guy could have it worse.
This is a person who has a very bad day. The BMW 3 Seriesdriver had his car stuck in sand at the beach. He locked himself out of his vehicle, making matters worse. Worst, the BMW was reversed, causing the wheels to spin in the sand.
We hope that the gentleman who filmed this scene was a dryly sarcastic one and helped the BMW driver after taking the video. However, the guy who took this video didn’t offer any assistance beyond a number to call a locksmith or other help.
We are able to see the background of the scene. The BMW driver park on a dune that overlooks the ocean in East Hampton, New York. He decided that it was time for him to move on and shifted his BMW 3 Series into reverse. The ruts beneath each wheel led to the man flooring the throttle in an attempt to move his all-wheel drive sedan. However, he only got more stuck.
He was likely confused and flustered at that point. He might have looked back to see what was going on and opened the door. He might have seen nothing and decided to get out of the car quickly. The sedan wasn’t going anywhere.
The door was then closed. It is not clear how long it took for the man to realize that he was locked out of his car. Did he feel immediate terror when the door opened? Did he try to find the problem and check it out?
We don’t know what the end of this story will be. Perhaps a truck-mounted locksmith arrived to unlock the door, and free the BMW stuck in it. Alternativly, the 3 Series could have spun its tires on the sand dunes until it ran out of fuel.
