EMC joined forces with Lotus F1 Team to break the Guinness World Record in a truck jump.
The record-breaking attempt was made at Bentwaters Park in Suffolk, United Kingdom on November 6. Stuntman Mike Ryan (UK) was behind the wheel. He was able to leap the semi-truck at 83 feet 7 inches over Martin Ivanov’s Lotus Formula 1 car, a well-known stuntman.
This was, of course, done to raise EMC’s visibility, a cloud computing company and data management company that works with Lotus F1 Team. It was a great bonus that they broke Guinness World Record for truck jumping.
