We are sorry to say this, but it is something we love.

This is going to be a delicate situation for some friends. The Ford Mustang is a very important vehicle for enthusiasts, muscle car lovers, and the country. We have to admit that this fully-electric Mustang (it is not exactly a restomod. See more below) ticks all the boxes in our personal charts. Although it is available for order from a British company, it won’t be cheap. In a moment, we will show you the price.

Charge Cars, which is based in London has shown the final production version its electric Mustang. It’s tempting to call it a restoration project. But, Mark Roberts, the studio’s boss, says that it’s actually a completely new electric Mustang. Only 499 of them will be made. Each one will retail for PS350,000 or roughly $450,000 depending on current exchange rates. This price includes accessories and options.

The car is not intended to be a restomod, as it is entirely new and not based on any existing vehicle. It is however based on a 1967 Mustang Fastback shell. The factory combustion engine has been replaced by an electric motor with a peak output power of 536 horsepower (400 Kilowatts) as well as a maximum torque of 1,106 pounds (1,500 Newton-meters). The all-wheel drive system, which presumably has one electric motor per axle, allows the sports car to reach 60 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.9 seconds.

The battery pack, which is a small 62-kWh in size, stores electric energy for the motors. Charge Cars estimates that the range between two charges is approximately 200 miles (322 km). There are two charging options: a 50-kW DC fast charging and a 20 to 80 percent charge. This means that it should take less than one hour to recharge.

Each example will be built by the company in London. Customers will have the chance to “personalize their cars” and express their creativity through the details, colors, and materials. The exterior and interior of the electric Mustang retain the original spirit. However, both are “equipped with stateof-the-art components.”
