The “Allroads Ronin”, with its completely reworked cabin, isn’t your average Lancer.
Sofia-based Vilner is an expert in interior customization. They have revealed many cars with a lot of custom touches over the years. The Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart 2011 has had almost everything inside modified to create the “Allroads Ronin.”
You might think that wood was used on the dashboard and lower center console. But, looks can be deceiving. These surfaces were actually covered with heat- and pressure-treated velour. The pattern is inspired from a samurai’s helmet.
Many customized cars today rely on Alcantara for their interiors. Vilner, however, decided to go a different route and use Amaretta, a Japanese microfiber that is 4,000 times thinner than a human’s hair. It is extremely durable and can withstand a lot of tears, so it will stand the test of time. It was used to cover the upper portion of the dashboard as well as all the doors and pillars.
The cabin has more to it than meets the eye. A total of 35 kilograms (77 lbs) of sound-deadening materials were installed by the Bulgarian experts. This in turn has reduced the noise level by half.
The Mitsubishi now has full-LED taillights and headlights. It also features custom wheel arch guards. This gives the sedan a rugged look that is enhanced by the +20 mm suspension. It houses the standard turbocharged four cylinder 2.0-liter engine, which produces 241 horsepower and 353 Newton meters (260 pound-feet) torque through a six speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
