Lamborghini-Based Kode 0 Supercar Hits the Used Market

This is not your average supercar.

Are you looking for an exclusive, supercar that is rare? If you answered yes and cars like Lamborghini and Porsche seem too mainstream, then you’re in the right place. Let’s tell you about a supercar that’s up for purchase.

The Kode0 supercar that we’re referring to was created by Ken Okuyama, who is also responsible for creations such as the Ferrari Enzo or Ferrari P4/5. It was first unveiled at Monterey’s Pebble Beach Concours last August, and even visited Jay Leno’s Garage just a few months later.

The Kode 57 was a follow-up to the Lamborghini Aventador. However, the Kode 0 has a completely redesigned design with a slim overall profile, LED headlights and 20- and 21-inch Pirelli P-Zero tires. The coachbuilt vehicle is 3,417 pounds (1.550 kilograms) lighter than the Aventador (4,085 lb / 1,852 kg).

The supercar’s naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine produces 690 horsepower (690 kilowatts) & 507 lb-ft (690 Newton-meters). It is able to reach the rear wheels via a seven-speed ISR transmission and can sprint from 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 2.9 seconds.

Okuyama claims that the Kode 0 was inspired by 1970s dream car proportions such as the Lancia Stratos Zero and Lamborghini Countach. TPE, a Tokyo-based supercar dealer, has listed the Kode 0 for sale as a unique package. It combines the spirit of these cars with “modern-day technology”. To find out more information about the price, contact the seller. Keep in mind, however, that the original Kode 0 sold for over seven figures.
