Renault will launch the Sandero Stepway SUV in Brazil in October. The SUV will also be available in Argentina. Stepway receives the most powerful Renault bio-fuel engine in Brazil.

Renault do Brasil is the Brazilian arm of French car maker Renault. It is updating its Sandero lineup with the Sandero Stepway in October. This is ten months after the Sandero brand was launched there. Sandero, which is referred to as a Dacia in Eastern Europe, has had a lot of success in Brazil with 18500 units being sold in the first half this year. The Stepway is powered by a 1.6-litre, 112 bhp, 16-valve engine. It also has the Hi-Flex bio-ethanol engine. It is the most powerful bioethanol powerplant from Renault in Brazil at 112 ponies.

Sandero’s unique styling and higher ride height will make it a popular choice for drivers. This will increase Sandero’s popularity among female drivers. Stepway also includes a chrome-finished pipe and exclusive bumpers and grilles, as well as roof bars with integrated spoilers.
Renault hopes to climb from the current fifth place in Brazil. Sandero Stepway, its fifth model from six, is designed to help foster this position over the next year. Auto manufacturers are looking to developing countries like Brazil as a source of growth, with established markets slowing down. This is why this car will be next in its path to Argentina after Brazil.
