Ford Shows More Easter Eggs in New Ranger Promo Photos for 2019

Ford has chosen to hide extinct creatures in his images, rather than Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster.

The company published a humorous gallery of photos that featured Easter Eggs, hiding cryptids such as Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster in the images. This was around the time the North-American-spec Ford Ranger made its debut in January 2018. The Blue Oval released a second batch of photos of the upcoming pickup, this time with extinct animals hidden in the shots.

Motor1.com makes it easier to find these hidden creatures. Have a closer look and, if necessary, use the slider. The hidden Easter Egg is revealed inside a bright, red circle.

Easter Egg is a term that refers to a hidden treat. It’s usually found in a piece or media. This is similar to how Easter Eggs are hidden by parents for their children to find. Warren Robinett, a game designer and programmer, popularized this term in his Atari 2600 videogame Adventure. Atari, the game’s publisher at the time, wouldn’t allow developers to have credits. Robinett chose to conceal his name in the game. Players had to follow a complex process to find a gray pixel. This was usually invisible due to the game’s background. Then, they had to bring this item to a screen to see the message: “Created By Warren Robinett.”
