It is great for camping and spying on your neighbours.

Except for a few exceptions, large vans are now extinct. A classic American van with only 23,000 miles is up for sale. This particular Dodge Ram 350 might be overlooked for its low mileage. Because the back is full of FBI surveillance equipment.

You can be a spy hunter by purchasing this Cold War relic on eBay at $11,100 with just three days left as of this posting. This van is expected to be purchased by a new owner at the minimum price. If you were just looking for a cargo hauler, this is a good price considering the features these large one-ton extended vans offer.

You’ll notice a lot of differences inside. It’s a lot more complicated than that. There are a bunch of batteries to power two LCD screens, an amplifier, tape recorder, amplifiers, rows and rows of unidentified electronics. The auction description also describes a freaking radio. Although we don’t know how it works, there is a radio scanner, intercom and more outlets than the TV section at Best Buy.

According to the seller, all documentation is available to confirm that the van is authentic. The van was used in federal drug investigations. It was purchased at a government auction, before it ended up on eBay.

This is definitely one of the most bizarre vehicle auctions that we have ever seen. We are intrigued by the contents, but we also wonder what the owner would do with all the gear. What would you do if you owned this van?
