Patrick Goss (also known as Pat Goss) has died. MotorWeek reported his passing through its social media channels. Although the cause of death was not disclosed, it is believed that both the TV host and automotive media personality died unexpectedly.

Goss was a well-known name in automotive media. His segment, Goss’ Garage, had seen him on the television show for 41 seasons. He was the show’s master mechanic and shared his knowledge with millions of viewers around the globe.

Goss is a name that will be remembered by car enthusiasts who were involved in the industry since the 1980s.

We are sad to announce the sudden passing of Pat Goss (our long-time friend and colleague). He appeared on MotorWeek for forty-one seasons, starting with our very first episode.

Our Goss’ Garage segment has been a cornerstone of the program. Millions of viewers have viewed it as a must-see segment. Pat shared his car knowledge and no-nonsense maintenance advice with a casual familiarity.
