The Easter Safari this year begins on April 9.
The Jeep Easter Safari concept’s latest teaser appears to be a Wrangler4xe Rubicon, with a military-inspired body. According to the company, the vehicle will be described as:
Jeep loves to take a trip down memory lane, especially during Easter Jeep Safari. The Jeep design team is working hard on an off-roader to pay homage and honor a Jeep vehicle from the past. It combines military determination and 4xe electric vehicle technology.
The single teaser photo shows that the Wrangler 4xe is painted olive drab, even on the fenders. The body’s front appears stock. The “RU31 Con” lettering at the side of your hood is a stylized spelling of Rubicon. The tread pattern on the tires is chunky. The wheels are simple and functional. The front door is adorned with an American flag. It is not possible to see anything else.
Jeep describes the concept as if it was based on a military-style classic. Willys MB, from World War 2, is the first vehicle that springs to mind. There are also a few options for those with military experience, such as the Willys M38 or Jeep M606.
A model, which combines the Wrangler with Gladiator, is one of the vehicles that has been teased for this year’s Jeep Easter Safari. It appears to have a smaller cargo area than the standard truck and a design that is similar to the 1980s CJ-8 Scrambler pickup.
A model celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Rubicon’s name is also being introduced by the company. It uses the 392 engine. The Cherokee 4xe appears stock in this teaser. Jeep claims that it electrifies both on-pavement and off-pavement adventures. A mysterious Gladiator is visible only as a partial QR code at the moment.
The Jeep Easter Safari will take place from April 9 to 17. The company presented four concepts at the event last year. There were six in 2019. We’ve seen five of the 2022 models so far. It is possible that we will see another six in 2022.
