Lamborghini Huracan Evo Duels Porsche 911 Turbo S In Speedo Comparison

It’s a race between numbers

Both the Porsche 911 Turbo S as well as the Lamborghini Uracan Evo Spyder supercars are incredible. Although they have the same engine, the locations of the engines are different. However, both cars have 10 cylinders and the other only six. There is only one difference between the Lamborghini & the Porsche. However, you won’t be able to tell the difference on paper. The AutoTopNL YouTube channel has released a new video that compares both the speedometers.

The outside footage doesn’t show the race between them. Instead, we will focus on the speedometer as the cars approach 186 miles an hour (300 km per hour). The Porsche completes the quarter-mile in 10.42 seconds, while the Lamborghini took 10.53 seconds. In the sprint to 124 MPH (200 km/h), the Porsche finished the race in 8.94 seconds, compared to the Lamborghini’s 9.52 second time.

A twin-turbocharged, 3.8-liter flat-6 engine makes 650 horsepower (484 Kilowatts) as well as 590 pound-feet (801 Newton-meters). This is more power than the naturally-aspirated 5.2-liter V10, which produces 640 horsepower (477 kW) as well as 442 lbft (600 Nm), of torque. The Lamborghini is able to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.1 seconds, while the Porsche can do it in 2.7 seconds. Both have all-wheel drive so that they share this feature.

Although this isn’t your usual drag race, it is still interesting to see the cars within tenths or less of one another in most metrics. It also serves as a reminder of all the ways that automakers can build sports cars. It’s possible to make a supercar in many different ways, as Porsche and Lamborghini show. We also know that there are many others.
