Only the Grand Cherokee Summit 4xe or Summit Reserve 4xe trims have the High Altitude package. These are the SUV’s top-of-the-line midsize SUVs. The new paint option and the High Altitude package will be available for order in the second quarter of 2022.

Jim Morrison, Senior Vice President and Head of Jeep Brand North America, stated that the Grand Cherokee 4xe’s stunning High Altitude appearance package, along with the premium Hydro Blue exterior paint option, gives it a unique look for those who desire the highest level of performance, luxury, and capability.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee models have a turbocharged 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors. This combination produces 375 horsepower (637 Newton-meters), and 470 poundfeet (637 kilowatts). The electrified models can travel 25 miles using only electric power.

Pricing is as follows: Summit Reserve 4xe adds $995 to the High Altitude Package, and Summit Reserve 4xe adds $1,495 to the Summit 4xe Package.

However, the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe range is not cheap. The electrified lineup’s price starts from $57,700. This is a huge $20,000 increase over the non-electrified models. The Grand Cherokee Summit 4xe starts at $69,820 and the Summit Reserve 4xe at $74,300. These prices do not include destination fees.
