Dodge Announces Chief Donut Maker Contest Winner On Hemi Day

The 4/26 announcement is a great time to announce who will be making Hemi-powered donuts throughout the year.

Many companies in America are having difficulty finding employees for key positions right now. At Dodge, 173,500 people applied to be the chief donut maker. This, as you can see, has nothing to do w/ baked goods. Preston Patterson, a North Carolina resident, was chosen from 10 finalists.

Patterson gets what for his extensive interview. Patterson receives a $150,000 check as well as the keys to a new Dodge Challenger Hellcat for one year. Patterson will likely use it as his “company car” while he serves as a tire slayer for Dodge and brand ambassador over the next twelve months.

Patterson said that he was a child who had a Dodge Viper poster on his bedroom wall. Now, he has the keys to a Dodge Challenger Hellcat for his company car. I am 100% ready to take on my first assignment as chief doughnut maker. I look forward to representing Dodge and the Brotherhood of Muscle in some incredible automotive events this year, including Roadkill Nights this season.

Patterson and Lauren F. were the finalist in the last challenge, whipping Challenger Hellcats around Radford Racing School in Chandler. Donuts, autocrossing and burnouts were all part of the mix. Brand ambassadors should also know critical Dodge trivia questions. There’s also symmetry in the announcement of the winner on April 26, an unofficial Hemi Day that pays tribute to the original 426-cubic-inch Hemi V8.

“After nearly four months of searching for the chief donut maker at Dodge, we were overwhelmed by the 10 finalists and how each embodied the best of Dodge,” stated Tim Kuniskis, Dodge CEO. “We put all our candidates to the test on and off the track, and Preston didn’t lift a single donut, which shows that he has the character, knowledge, and drive to represent The Brotherhood of Muscle.”
