Just in time to catch the Miami Grand Prix this weekend.
New fruit has been borne out of the longstanding partnership between IWC Schaffhausen, Swiss watchmaker, and Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team from 2013.
The IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Edition “Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team” is now available. The watch will be worn daily by the entire team: designers, mechanics, race engineers, strategists and strategists.
You can also buy one for yourself, even if your team is not champion F1 – but it will cost you a lot.
The official Mercedes F1 Team watch is made of lightweight, rigid grade 5 titanium. This metal has the highest strength to density ratio. It is used in the production and production automotive parts that are subjected to extreme stresses.
After machining and sandblasting, the titanium body of this 41mm watch has a greyish shimmer. The dial is black with luminescence and printing in the team’s trademark shade of green. The IWC-manufactured 69385 calibre chronograph movement can be seen under the sapphire glass at its back. It is located in the column-wheel design and consists of 231 parts. The battery can last up to 46 hours.
Two straps are available for the Pilot’s Watch 41 Edition Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team: A black embossed Calfskin strap or a green rubber band. They can be swapped easily with the EasXCHANGE system of the company without the need for additional tools.
The price for the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Edition Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team watch is $7,850. This watch is just in time to be worn at the Miami Grand Prix which will take place from May 6-8, 2022. The race day will take place at the Miami International Autodrome, Florida.
