It will share the front-end styling of the M4 CSL.
BMW will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a big celebration. In the next few months, we will see several new M products from the company. One of these might be the new BMW M3 CS. New spy photos show the sedan around the Nurburgring.
Recent photos show the sedan alongside the CSL, which the company is also working on. Both will receive aggressive front fascias and unique grille inserts.
BMW keeps the front fascia covered with camouflage, but it cannot hide all the openings and inlets for the powerful engine. The rear of the car is uncamouflaged, showing a familiar design with quad exhaust pipes and an aggressive diffuser.
The M3CS will be powered by BMW’s 3.0-liter straight-6 engine. BMW will tune the engine to produce 540 horsepower (402 megawatts). BMW will only pair the engine with an automatic gearbox and all wheel drive. BMW will improve the car’s overall performance through extensive carbon fiber use. It may even offer a rear-seat deletion option.
Carbon fiber could also make its way into M3 CS’s interior. BMW will install its latest iDrive 8 infotainment program and dash-spanning display screen. BMW may have added something to the rear windows by camouflaging it, but the car does not appear to sport rear-seat headrests. It is difficult to see.
According to the latest rumors, BMW will start M3 CS production in March. This will only last for 11 months. BMW has not yet revealed when the M3 CS will be available, but they are celebrating 50 years of BMW’s M Division . The M3 Touring, M2 and M4 CSL will all be on display this year. The M3 CS is the perfect companion for the occasion.
