Although it looks conservative compared to previous Pagani models there is still a V12 engine in the engine bay.
We don’t get to see spy photos of a brand-new Pagani hypercar every day. Although the niche Italian brand teased its next product, it only showed the smallest of sketches. These images are our first glimpse at the prototype for what is currently called the C10.
It looks very conservative from the outside. However, we’re used to seeing winged Huayras and wild Zondas. It’s clear that we are dealing with a Pagani. If the thin side mirrors don’t convince you, then the sight of the round dials on carbon-fiber dash is enough to prove it. The rear-exit quad exhaust makes it an open and closed case.
conservative in this context is only a relative term. We can see the large corners vents and scoops at the top. The car has Pagani’s signature short nose and steeply raked windshield that dips well into it. It is likely that there are vents under the hood. There may also be vents or sculpted features on the doors. These are hidden behind camo. It appears that there is a scoop under the roof, which could supply air to the engine. However, it could be a false panel. The flat, wide backside features taillights that don’t look production-ready and is set over a bizarre-looking diffuser.
Pagani’s V12 engines are still available, but you shouldn’t be alarmed if they decide to stop using their AMG-sourced V12. Although the power output of the 6.0-liter is not known, it is confirmed that it will be returning. Horatio Pagani stated last year that the C10’s focus would be on track performance, rather than power. The C10 would still have around 800 horsepower with a bump of 30-40 hp from the Huayra. It should be a featherweight machine with aero-focused track.
