The refreshed truck will have some variants with new mirror technology.
Ram’s 3500 HD truck has not been updated in a while. It appears that the automaker will give the 3500 a makeover for the next model year.
The first test of the 2023 Ram 3500 HD Dually was captured by our spy team. The prototype is only a small part of the vehicle, so it could indicate that there are no major changes to the three-box hauler. The new 3500 will be available later in the year.
The majority of changes can be seen on the hood. The wrap appears to conceal a ram intake – similar in design to the GM HD twins Chevy silverado and GMC Sierra. It is believed that the Ram 3500 will get mirror technology upgrades.
The Magna Clearview camera surveillance system was announced for release this year. Sources who have access to the information claim that some models of the 2023 Ram 3500 will be receiving the new technology.
Magna’s Clearview camera monitor system has a frameless rearview reflector that can be electronically switched between a traditional rearview mirror and a video display. The digital display can show up three cameras simultaneously and has a customizable field-of-view. This tech is especially useful when passengers, cargo and/or trailers block the driver’s view.
Ram has already begun to electrify, with the 1500 electrical truck set for a fall 2022 debut. A teaser was released by the company in April. It gave us a glimpse at the new battery-powered pickup.
