It seems like it could go faster.
The Ferrari F8 Tributo is fast. It can go from a standstill at 60 mph to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds if you have traction. It can reach 100 mph in 5.8 seconds and travels the quarter-mile at 139 mph in 10.5 seconds. If you have enough room to run, it will eventually reach 211 miles per hour.
The new video from AutoTopNL does not offer numerical verification for all benchmarks but it gives us a driver’s perspective of the in all those situations. This supercar is extensively driven on a section of German autobahn that is not restricted. We actually get one mathematical verification from this high-speed trip. The Ferrari’s speed drops to 341 km/h in seventh gear at 7,400 rpm according to the tachometer. This is 211 mph, which is the maximum speed a healthy F8 Tributo should be able to reach.
We’d also say that this car is very healthy. Novitec is a tuning company offering many upgrades to the Tributo. Horsepower is still listed in stock so it’s not clear what modifications (if any) might be involved. It’s easy to feel motivated with 710 horsepower (529 kilowatts), already gushing from the F8’s twin-turbocharged, 3.9-liter V8. The car in the video is capable of even more speed. After achieving 211 mph, the driver lifted himself from the highway.
One of the many runs that make up the max speed pass can be seen in this video. Traffic conspired with the F8 to make things more relaxed on previous attempts. However, sedate still refers to sprints of close to 200 mph at multiple times. It doesn’t take long for the F8 to achieve such speed, whether stock or modified.
An Novitec-trimmed HTML8 Tributo can produce over 800 horsepower (597 kW) and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.6 seconds. Novitec lists the fastest speed at more than 340 km/h, which is the F8’s top speed. We believe that a few more clicks can be made to the speedo, considering the acceleration seen in the Ferrari video.
